verihealth, Inc. a Sonoma County based Ambulance Company has Donated It's Second Ambulance to the Fire Department of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

On October 27th Comandante Juan Antonio Carbajal Figueroa and three other bomberos (firemen) from Cabo San Lucas arrived in their rental car after driving more than 24 hours at verihealth in Petaluma to pick up from Gary Tennyson, CEO verihealth and Ken Bradford Director of verihealth / REACH Training Institute the second ambulance in almost a year to be donated to the fire department of Cabo San Lucas.

verihealth's commitment was reaffirmed after receiving an e-mail from Commandante Juan Carbajal of the Cuerpos de Bomberos in Cabo San Lucas. The e-mail stated the concerns of the fire department over the recent near death experience of an infant they were attempting to transport to a hospital in La Paz over 120 miles from Cabo. During the long drive and keeping the child alive on a ventilator, one of the few ambulances for the population in Cabo was involved in an accident with a large bull attempting to cross the road. It is critical to the health and well being of so many locals and tourists alike in Cabo to have operable and reliable ambulances that verihealth decided to donate a second vehicle and include other donations so desperately needed within the greater Cabo San Lucas community.

Through the efforts of verihealth's Ken Bradford and several community partners; Life-Assist, Tri-anim Health Services, City of Rohnert Park Dept. of Public Safety, Sonoma Valley Fire Med, St. Helena Fire Dept.and the Santa Rosa Junior College Public Safety Training Center provided much needed medical and fire safety equipment. Mary Ann Mahoney, Annika & Jason Clough, Galand and Joanne Chapman provided additional support with the donation of children's toys, diapers and clothing. After a quick one hour loading of the '94 ambulance it was on its way for the long drive home. verihealth received an e-mail after that it arrived safe and sound and much to the delight of the bomberos and the entire Cabo San Lucas community.

verihealth's mission is to be a market leader of safe and reliable medical solutions provided by a team of highly valued professionals always patient focused and community centered
