verihealth Sponsors Meals on Wheels Derby Day
verihealth, Inc. was a proud table sponsor of the 10th annual Council on Aging Derby Day at Sonoma Cutrer Vineyards on May 2, 2009. Proceeds for this event benefitted the Meals on Wheels Program of Sonoma County.
Guests, wearing their festive Derby attire, enjoyed live music, sipped Russian River Valley wines and feasted on a fabulous southern-style luncheon prepared by top Sonoma County chefs. The day also included a silent and live auction, a celebrity chef's competition and a live broadcast of the Kentucky Derby.
About Council on Aging
Council on Aging is a private, non-profit organization that has been providing services for Sonoma County citizens over the age of 60 since 1966. Their mission is to provide services that support the independence and well-being of older adults, and to be a strong advocate for the quality of life of elders both locally and nationally.
